This antique toy catalog from F.A.O. Schwarz showcases their collection of toys, baby carriages, and games from the late 19th century in New York City. The catalog features items from their store located at 765 Broadway and was printed between 1876-1880. It includes information on the author, publisher, and topic of the catalog. Broadway was their first store, but in 1876, they added a second location at 1159 Broadway before moving to 42 E 14th Street in Union Square in 1880.

Additionally, the catalog is unbound and unsigned. It is a great addition to any collector's bookshelf, especially for those interested in antiquarian and collectible books and magazines. The catalog has a nail size hole in the upper left corner of the front and a tear from the center with all of the paper included, neither of these flaws detract from the appearance much in fact we feelnitnalmost enhances itm

For nearly 150 years, FAO Schwarz was an iconic landmark in a city that has so many to choose from. We were unable to find another exemplar from this era which we feel speaks to the level of rarity.
