Lot consists of 60 photos.

On 43 photos you can see ballet scenes, rehearsals, general photos with other artists. 11 photos show the image of the ballerina herself in the studio. (without ballet costumes). And in 6 photos, a ballerina at a young age with her parents, at school, and probably with her sister.

The condition of the photo is very good, large photos have a slight bend in the corner from the fact that they were stored without an album, just in the box. Several photos have slight damage to the corners. All photos you can see in the photos.

In one photo you can see the Russian ballet master Pavel Nikolayevich Petrov at a lesson with ballerinas. There are also photographs of ballets such as Swan Lake" (1927), "The Nutcracker" (1928) and other.

PETROV PAVEL NIKOLAEVICH 

Russian ballet dancer, choreographer and teacher.

After graduating from the St. Petersburg Theater School, he performed at the Mariinsky Theater (1900-1922). In 1918-1920. performed a number of productions in the Petrograd theaters of miniatures and the Mikhailovsky Theater, staged dances in operas, operettas, and dramatic performances. In 1922 he staged the Solveig ballet at the Petrograd State Opera and Ballet Theatre.

From 1925 he worked in Lithuania, where he is considered the founder of professional ballet. He founded a ballet studio in Kaunas.

In the 1930s worked in France. He died in 1938 in Paris.

Lithuanian ballet

The first major figure L. b. became the ballet master, dancer and artist O. Dubeneckienė-Kalpokene, who organized the first ballet studio in Kaunas in 1921 (the first concert with the participation of her students took place in 1922) and composed dances for opera performances in 1921-25. In 1925-29, a dancer, teacher, and choreographer P. N. Petrov, invited from Leningrad, worked in Lithuania. He introduced the artists to the basics of Russian. classical dance schools, contributed to the formation of their prof. skill. In 1925 Petrov post. the first ballet in Lithuania "Coppelia". Among his most significant. productions: "Swan Lake" (1927), "The Nutcracker" (1928); "Lithuanian Rhapsody" on the music. Karnavicius (1928), "Firebird" and "Harlequinade" (1929). In 1929-30, the ballet troupe was headed by V. A. Karalli, G. G. Kyaksht, and F. A. Vasiliev.Lot consists of 60 photos.
