This is a high quality reproduction by Lion House Antiques in Moreton-in-Marsh, who were renowned for their quality and workmanship. We purchased this matching set from them (new) in 2003. 

The set comprises:

- 7'6" x 3' solid oak triple plank table top with breadboard ends, mounted on a heavy trestle with ornate leg carving and a substantial centre stretcher at floor level

- six chairs, in a William and Mary style, with solid oak frames and padded / upholstered seats

- two carvers, in a William and Mary style, with solid oak frames and padded / upholstered seats

The woodwork is intentionally distressed an has some further genuine distress marks added with time, all of which adds to the overall charm and character of the set. Viewing is welcome and encouraged, by prior arrangement.
