About Our Store:
Lifelong Thrift Store is a nonprofit thrift store with roots in Seattle starting back in 1983, when a group first passed a soup can around Volunteer Park, collecting donations to help feed, house and support those who were fighting HIV/AIDs.
Our parent organization, Lifelong was formed in 2001 through the merger of two different non-profit organizations founded in response to the AIDS epidemic in the Seattle community - Chicken Soup Brigade and Northwest AIDS Foundation. In order to promote the cause, thrift stores were opened to serve as a place of funding, and in one form or another we've been bringing treasures and much-needed necessities to our customers and clients for over two decades
Purchasing from us helps Lifelong to provide care for so many people who are dealing with life-changing chronic health conditions; Lifelong offers meal delivery services, assistance navigating/receiving healthcare of all sorts, and a voucher program that allows folks in need to come shop at our store for free. Our eBay allows us to maximize some of those benefits by singling out our most valuable donations to share with the whole world, so thanks for being a part of our mission!
