This microphone is new and has never been used. The T5000 Electro Meditation has a unique design and produces a warm, rich sound that is ideal for vocals and instruments.

The T5000 has a simple plate-follower circuit built around a 12A*7 tube and a nice dual-bobbin transformer...it is a very nicely made and great sounding OEM 9-pattern LDC microphone, much better sounding than the stock Nady 1050 which it also resembles...it has a smokier, slightly darker tone than the CM-6 (a bit more vintage sounding)...not quite as upgraded as the CM-6 in terms of the components...but a nice 34mm K67 capsule, and vintage style cloth-covered 7-pin cable (like Peluso uses)...replacing the tube with a better quality NOS GE 6072 or 6201 will also improve the T5000's tone quite noticeably...all-in-all, a very nice sounding tube condenser mic!
