This is a lovely swimsuit, that I found tucked away at an estate. The owner was a women that was in her 90s.

This swimsuit features shearing and boning that all help to create that hourglass shape. The color reminds me of military fatigues and I wonder if this swimsuit was influenced by WW2. The fabric isn’t especially stretchy - is is a vintage, structured suit.

I pointed out a couple areas with mild discoloration - please check out the photos. The metal zipper has some paint that has flaked off. The lining in the crotch has some holes (just the lining).

The elastic at the leg openings has some stretch but it does seem to have lost a lot of its stretch.

The metal boning has popped out in two locations.

It’s hard to read because of fading but I believe that this suit is labeled a size 12 - this is a vintage size and as seen in the photos, the suit is much smaller than a modern-day size 12.

Thanks for looking. I have another swimsuit from the same estate listed, too.
