These sconces are custom made and come from the estate of Daniel Reid. Daniel was born and raised in Richmond Indiana. He moved to New York and became the biggest mfg of tin, giving him the nickname "the tin maker". He manufactured tin ceilings in homes and buildings. He sold his tin making business to US Steel and retired in Richmond IN where he custom built a mansion for his family. My clients mother was a personal friend of Mr. Reid and has had these sconces since his passing in the late 20's.

Sconces are heavy brass and are wired with a plug. Measures 17 1/2" long x 10" w. Weigh about 5.5lbs a piece. Truly a unique find!
