Based on the popular book by Western writer Louis L'Amour, 'The Quick and the Dead' tells the story of Duncan and Susanna McKaskel, who move to Wyoming in 1876. They soon befriend Con Vallian, played by Sam Elliot, a frontiersman who helps protect the family from thieves intent on taking everything they can from the family. Originally made for television, the movie now appears on DVD and features the complete western with remastered audio in Dolby digital stereo along with a dubbed French track. Bonus features include an audio commentary by director Robert Day, interactive menus, subtitles, and a television spot advertising the movie.
