Dave Scott Apollo 15 Signed 10 x 8 Lunar Rover Photo

An
impressive and desirable 10 x 8 satin-finish photo of Dave Scott, Apollo
15 Commander (CDR) on the lunar surface walking away from the Lunar Roving Vehicle
(LRV) during the third extravehicular activity (EVA) - NASA image AS15-82-11168. The
photo is on Fuji Crystal Archive paper. Dave has very nicely hand-signed
the photo in silver pen "Dave Scott / Apollo 15
CDR".
Apollo 15 launched on July 26th 1971 and became NASA's fourth lunar
landing mission. Scott and Jim Irwin, Lunar Module Pilot landed the LM 'Falcon' in the Hadley-Apennine region, drove the first LRV 17.3 miles and collected 77
kilograms of lunar samples. The mission splashed down in the Pacific Ocean on
August 7th 1971.
