  • Bezeichnung: Unterhalb befindet sich der Name des Dargestellten sowie die kurze lateinischsprachige Bezeichnung: "Iunior ambitiosus". Rückseitig befindet sich ein typographischer Druck in deutscher Sprache sowie die handschriftliche Zuschreibung an Dominicus Custos. Das Blatt stammt aus dem Historienwerk Tirolensivm Principum Comitvm. Der Gefürsten Grafen zu Tyrol. Von Anno 1229. biß Anno 1600. Eigentliche Contrafacturen. Sampt Historischer Beschreibung, auß hieuor außgangenem Latein, durch dessen Autorn verteutscht von Dominicus Custos und Marcus Henning aus dem Jahr 1599.

  • Beschreibung: Ganzfiguriges historisierendes Bildnis im Halbprofil mit Herzogskrone und Langschwert. Seitlich der fingierten Figurennische befinden sich die Wappenschilde des Dargestellten.

  • Zustand: Guter Zustand. Auf dem gesamten Blatt sind leichte Stockflecken sichtbar. In der Darstellung befinden sich einzelne punktförmige Bereibungen. Die Blattkanten sind stellenweise schwach bestoßen und vereinzelt eingerissen. In der Blattunterkante befindet sich ein grober Einriss, der rückseitig mit Klebeband fixiert wurde. Der Druck macht einen frischen und kräftigen Eindruck.

  • Description: Full-length portrait in half-profile with ducal crown and long sword. To the side of the fictitious niche are the sitter's coats of arms.

  • Condition: Good condition. Light foxing is visible on the entire sheet. There are single dot-shaped rubbings in the image. The edges of the sheet are slightly bumped in places and occasionally torn. There is a coarse tear in the lower edge of the sheet, which has been fixed with adhesive tape on the reverse side. The impression of the print is fresh and strong.
