I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but rebuilding tube gear is somewhat complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron. This kit will not fix everything that could be wrong with your equipment, but it will certainly help.
The Eico 232 and 249 use a 1.5v battery, which generally needs replacing. It is possible to replace this with a small "battery eliminator" circuit that works off the AC voltage. This is not part of the kit, and I don't have these available, but if you search eBay for VTVM battery eliminator you can buy one from another seller.
