  Das Blatt stammt aus einer Serie mit Darstellungen der Apostel Jesu Christi von Boudan, die Mitte des 17. Jahrhunderts als Votivbild oder Andachtsbild erstellt wurden.

• Beschreibung: Ganzfigurige Darstellung des Heiligen Andreas in antikisierender Tracht auf einem Sockel stehend. In den Händen hält er das Attribut seines Martyriums, das diagonal gestellte Kreuz sowie ein Buch. Im Hintergrund ist eine szenische Darstellung des Martyriums des Apostels zu sehen sowie eine Szene aus dem Leben des Heiligen und der Zusammenkunft mit Jesus von Nazareth.

  The sheet comes from a series with depictions of the apostles of Jesus Christ by Boudan, created in the mid-17th century as a votive or devotional picture.

• Description: Full-length depiction of St. Andrew in antique costume standing on a pedestal. In his hands he holds the attribute of his martyrdom, the diagonally placed cross, as well as a book. In the background is a scenic representation of the apostle's martyrdom as well as a scene from the saint's life and meeting with Jesus of Nazareth.

• Condition: Very good condition. Slightly soiled on all sides. The edges of the sheet are slightly trimmed.
