Beautiful Antique Christofle Ice Bucket with Strainer from the S.S. Normandie

Compagnie Générale Transatlantique (CGT)

Luc Lanel Designed.   Very Rare Bucket and Exceptionally Rare Find with Original Strainer Insert.

Overall in good original condition. With some minor scratches and minute discolorations consistent with age and use.

Scattered shallow scratches throughout and only a few isolated nicks, many concentrated to the bottom edge as expected from light usage over the years.

This is an exceptionally rare intact piece of the original First Class Service and would make a prize additional to any collection.  It would also be a standout for any yacht or sailing enthusiast's bar.  Malcolm Forbes acquired S.S. Normandie champagne coolers for his yacht.

Impressed CHRISTOFLE with model number and engraved with the French Line monogram

5.5" high  ~9.5" including handle   ~4 7/8" wide
