  • Beschreibung: betitelt "P. Terentii Afri Comoediae". Deckblatt zu einer Publikation mit Schriften des römischen Dichters Terenz. Er galt als einer der berühmtesten Komödiendichter der römischen Antike und war neben Plautus der bedeutendste römische Dichter der Archaik.Von ihm sind insgesamt sechs Komödien erhalten, die zwischen 166 und 160 v. Chr. aufgeführt wurden.

  • Description: Entitled "P. Terentii Afri Comoediae". Cover page of a publication with writings by the Roman poet Terence. He was regarded as one of the most famous comic poets of Roman antiquity and, alongside Plautus, was the most important Roman poet of the Archaic period. six of his comedies have survived, which were performed between 166 and 160 BC.

  • Condition: Defective condition. The sheet is discoloured on all sides and shows signs of creasing, especially at the corners of the sheet. These are bumped and the margins are slightly damaged in places, with a vertical crease in the centre.
