• Beschreibung: Das Werk präsentiert eine Szenerie inmitten einer bukolischen Landschaft. Eine Gruppe hat sich zur Andacht in den Wald versammelt. Versunken beten sie unter einem alten Baum. Imposante Bäume, deren Äste detailreich ausgeführt sind, umrahmen die Szene und kontrastieren die zarten Linien der pastoral gekleideten Personen. Die Komposition und Lichtführung verleihen dem Bild eine harmonische, beinahe sakrale Atmosphäre.

• Inscription: At the lower part signed in the printing plate: "L. Richter pinx. | W. Witthöft sc.". Lower middle inscribed in the printing plate: "ABENDANDACHT.". Lower middle further inscription: "Druck v. Alexander Alboth".


• Date: 19th century


• Description: The work presents a scene in the middle of a bucolic landscape. A group has gathered in the forest to pray. They are lost in prayer under an old tree. Imposing trees, their branches richly detailed, frame the scene and contrast with the delicate lines of the pastorally dressed figures. The composition and lighting lend the picture a harmonious, almost sacred atmosphere.
