    Das vorliegende Blatt stammt aus dem Skizzenbuch eines anonymen Künstlers, der hauptsächlich Motive aus der alltäglichen Lebenswelt in der Region Tirol und Süddeutschland gezeichnet hat. In seiner Sammlung finden sich darüber hinaus auch Darstellungen von Schiffen und Burgen, die eine Reise des Künstlers in die norddeutschen Küstengebiete oder entlang des romantischen Rhein- und Moseltals nahelegen. Sein Zeichenstil bleibt skizzenhaft und belegt den spontanen Charakter der Kunstwerke, die der Künstler immer gleich vor Ort in seinem Skizzenbuch oder auf einem Notizblock gemacht haben muss.   • Beschreibung: Ausschnitthafte Architekturdarstellung des großen Schaufelrades einer Wassermühle im Gebirge. Über eine filigrane Holzkonstruktion fällt das Wasser des Mühlbachs steil auf die Schaufeln des Wasserrades und betreibt die kleine Mühle oder das Hammerwerk.

    The present sheet comes from the sketchbook of an anonymous artist who mainly drew motifs from everyday life in the region of Tyrol and southern Germany. His collection also includes depictions of ships and castles, suggesting a journey by the artist to the coastal areas of northern Germany or along the romantic Rhine and Moselle valleys. His drawing style remains sketchy and attests to the spontaneous character of the artworks, which the artist must always have made on the spot in his sketchbook or on a notepad.
