This listing is for a set of 2 dinner plates in the Sherwood design. The fine porcelain plates, which measure approximately 10 1/4" in diameter, were produced by Syracuse China. The pattern has since been retired. These plates feature a light ivory body, blue laurel band along the rim, gold verge, and gold trim. 

CONDITION

You'll find these dinner plates to be, at worst, in near-mint condition with only extremely minimal and infintesimal surface wear. (If I see even a single utensil mark or the most insignificant scratch, I won't list an item as mint.) The ornamentation is pristine, the colors are vivid with no fading or discoloration, and the glaze shines like new. Additionally, all of the plates are completely free of cracks, chips, nicks, crazing, stains, repairs, permanent hard water deposits, and detergent residue.
