This vintage cast iron bookbinders guillotine would make a pretty straightforward restoration project.

The main frame and mechanism is all there and functioning with just some surface rust.

Base board and handle are missing but very easy to replace.

The only issue needing a little more attention is a chip in the cutting blade - which is removable so could be reground or replaced.

Width of aperture 325mm - so would take A4 on long side / A3 on short side.

Definitely in the ‘they don’t make them like that any more’ category - and with plenty more useful life left in it after some TLC.

As you’d expect - it’s heavy - so collection only from near Chipping Norton.
