These are in Raw cut, which means how they came off the sawmill. They will need to be flattened and sanded to your finishing preference.

Dark lines? Olive wood turns dark during the drying process. I make one pass through the drum sander to expose the beauty of the wood but one pass does not always remove all of the sawmill blade marks.
I salvaged these Manzanillo Olive logs from central coast California and they are flat gorgeous.
I mill them myself with my sawmill, no middle man. I use a lot of the wood myself and sell some to other woodworkers for a reasonable price.
1 1/8"thick. I wiped them down with a wet rag to show the grain.
there is enough to do one this size or several smaller ones
If you have never worked with Olive wood you are going to love it. even though it is one of the hardest hardwoods it grows so slow which makes it very dense and heavy so it is wonderful to sand and finish. very forgiving and beautiful.
