Please measure your actual belt on a flat surface from the place where the end of the prong rests on the buckle to the hole in the belt you currently use. (See the graphic in the pictures.) This will give you the most accurate measurement.
The size of your pants is not the same as the size of your belt. Although it is not as precise, adding 2 inches to the size of your pants will provide a good estimate of the belt size. If you are 36, you will need a 38 belt. The number that I put as size is the middle hole of the measurement.
