You'll receive a large adenium in a 20cm terracotta pot with saucer. Approximate size of the caudex is 12-15 cm.

Adenium Obesum is native to sub-Saharan Africa and so is perfectly designed to tolerate prolonged periods of drought.

It's deciduous so the leaves will drop in winter. Don't water it at all whilst it's dormant, it'll rot very quickly if it gets wet. When new growth emerges in the spring, water around the caudex to wake up its root system.

Just as with succulents, Adenium only need watering when the soil is dry. In the growing season, allow the soil to dry out completely before watering again.

The root system is shallow and grows well in a bonsai dish. Keeping the roots packed in will encourage prolific flowering.
