Vintage 1929 Harwood First Ever Automatic Movement 9ct Solid Gold 28mm Wrist Watch

A lovely rare solid gold Harwood watch that requires a service as it stops and starts when shaken. It looks to otherwise be in good condition, the time is adjusted by rotating the bezel. The 9ct gold watch case is fully hallmarked with makers mark for George Stockwell, London, 1929. The movement is the first ever automatic calibre and has a bumper winding mechanism. The face has some minor tarnishing in places, the case has some faint marks in places, the strap shows signs of wear but still has plenty of life left in it
