This product data sheet is originally written in English.
For sale is a rare cup and saucer made by Worcester in around 1765. Both are decorated with a black print that was hand colored in as well as a bit of gold highlights and gold trim to the edges. This type of decoration was a highly unusual practice at Worcester! There is a large ruin scene in the center of the saucer and one on one side of the cup with a regular building scene on the other side of the cup. The set is in superb condition with some very minor wear to the gold trim, there is a spot of stray green paint on the side of the handle and the foot rings have some chips some of which are glazed over and none are anything major. The saucer is marked underneath with the under glaze blue mark as well as a number 6 while the cup is unmarked. The saucer is 1 inch tall and 5 inches in diam
