Take a Stoll down Duval Street to the waterfront at Mallory Square and surely your will see...feel and breath the essence of this splendid patternry showcasing a 1940 perspective of the island style...the simple beauty of the blending of palms...hibiscus and sailboats...clipper sailboats which still today are in use in Key West for pirate tours and excursions.

This offering is for ONE unused unwashed pillow/bag sized remnant of a prized barkcloth pattern...measures 23 inches wide x 21 inches long. It's what I call "Key West Hibiscus" channeling the early tropical colonialism with clipper ships. Made popular in the post Art Deco period of the 1930's as draperies and upholstery fabric for Miami Beach hotels. Just waiting for the perfect soul who has been waiting their whole life for such a rare opportunity to own such rare pirate treasure of the great Atlantic. The pirates were busy digging for gold...and overlooked the real gold...these intoxicating barkcloth beauties. A colorway sure to sweep you...a luxe tropical explosion of colors...so many shades of green...emerald turquoise...chartreuse...asparagus electric lime...magenta...bubble gum pink...creamy dove gray...Newport maya blue...creamy flesh pink...with black and white accents. Flawless time transportive textured barkcloth ready to be made into a pillow or bag...framed as art or whatever your creative DIY heart conjures up. Flawless...I attached the last two photos as inspiration for my bags and pillows that I sold of this pattern made into my own magic for the Miami Beach Show.

I take returns...but who wants to take a return right? So I do my best to add lots of photos that depict the weight and texture and do so thoughtfully so you are getting the most virtual experience. Please only buy if you know you really want it...in other words...I'm here to have the best selling experience and I can't do that without your help. With that said...of course I will take a return...I'm just hoping more the pricing will WOW YA over wanting to return it :) Here is to a summer of fabulous Florida Finds. :)
