Growing up with the cards and inside the Pokémon community I have learned what the best practices are in determining a card’s condition. 1x 2005 Pokemon Japanese First Edition Mirage Forest (Ex Legend Maker) Armaldo EX PSA Gem Mint 10.
Condition:
This card was graded by PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator), which is one of (if not, the leading) trading card grading and authenticating companies in the world. This card was given the grade of a Gem Mint 10. This is the highest possible grade that a card can get through PSA. Signifying that the card is almost perfect in condition. The case encapsulating the card is free of scratches or cracks. It is sleeved as well to avoid clinging dust/ finger prints/ scuffs on the actual case.
Condition Scale: (I will note flaws in condition section.)
Near Mint: Card has small flaws, very light surface scratches, very little edge whitening/ wear, small factory chipping (if any).
Light Play: Card has visible surface scratching, hazed holo-foil, visible edge wear, small dirt mark/ stain, factory chipping.
Moderate Play: Card has heavy surface scratching, large amounts of whitening, staining, chipping.
Heavy Play/ Damaged: Card is scratched heavily, large amounts of whitening, severe staining/ water damage, bent, creased, indented, written on, etc.
Please note that graded cards may not reflect your personal view on condition so please reference the above pictures to make a final determination. If you would like extra pictures I can most certainly provide them. However because I do work full time most days, I may not be able to provide them quickly. Thank you!
***Purchases will usually be shipped out within 2 business days. The card(s)usually will be packaged inside a penny sleeve, then a top-loader, then in a team bag. (If raw/ ungraded) This eliminates the need for tape to be placed anywhere near the card to avoid any nicking upon opening. Easier for you to open too! Everything will be mailed in a bubble mailer or a box with bubble wrap unless specified in this description.***
