28 inch - 4K (3840 x 2160) 60hz monitor.
This item is in working condition with no faults or odd behavior - no dead pixels etc..
The ONLY issue is that part of the backlight has died. I believe that the backlight is provided by several strips of LED's and by inspecting the photographs in this auction you can clearly see a portion of the screen where the LED's are not providing any illumination.
I do not personally believe I have the skill to fix this - and as such I have NOT opened the monitor - thus you can be happy knowing that the internals have not been tampered with.
In practical terms - this causes a fairly large portion of the screen to appear darker than the rest - whilst this can be ignored I would fully expect most bidders would plan to fix this one way or another. The overall brightness level of the monitor is certainly less than it was new - it would probably benefit from a full refresh to the backlight setup.
The monitor was mounted - as such I no longer have the stand and won't be providing any cables. Please provide your own kettle lead to power the monitor and compatible stand. The 4 screws for the rear mounting bracket are included (screwed into the monitor so as not to shake loose in shipping).
No manual - I've now packaged the item securely ready to send signed and insured.
The monitor has no previous owners - was purchased from Amazon new and has been with me for a number of years - served me very well, I hope somebody can get new life out of it.
Please carefully inspect the attached photo's of iiyama's monitor test pages (note they are for a larger vertical resolution than 2160 - it's not some kind of overscan issue).
