I FINALLY DID IT!!

I managed to nail the correct formulae for the softest and most pliable replacement gasket ever & IN BLACK!!! It only took 6 YEARS and over a hundred experiments and changes.

I had a search on eBay for about 5 years (starting around 2012) trying to find this gasket, but I’ve never even found one. Mine was toast and I had to do something about it.

After many fails and many careful measurements, I've come up with a part that works well as a replacement to the NLA (no-longer-available) rubber gasket required to seal the Y-Pipe to the Throttle body.

I found that the original OEM rubber gasket had a hard time installing properly which made it quite difficult to get an adequate seal. It would stretch and tear, basically ruining the gasket which would cause air leaks and blow offs! Sound familiar?

In my many attempts to get something that works, I discovered a few very interesting things about the relationship between the two parts where this gasket sandwiches and I've built them into the design of the gasket as well as into my instructions that make it install easily, every time!

You can install and re-install this gasket over and over again without worry.

Ever since I started making these replacements for the Original Gasket back around 2016, I’ve struggled getting one as close as possible to the original gaskets softness and pliability with vastly improved modern materials that don’t tear, deform and blow-off like the original did.

This is IT!

Read on for picture descriptions, softness/pliability, testimonials and if you’re interested in the progression, history or have bought one of my gaskets, which all worked at sealing. I just wanted them to be as good as these cars are, amazing.

I'm STILL running a 1st Gen of gasket in my car even though it is much stiffer than the 2nd Gen gasket but is indestructible under normal use! See the Torture Test with the crowbar & vise.

(To be clear, I’m referring to the generation or progression of my gasket development NOT the "Gen" of our cars)

2nd Gen was much better and softer

3rd Gen even better still

4th Gen This is it!      Soft, very close to the original pliability but many times stronger and will likely be the last gasket you’ll have to buy for the throttle body to Y-Pipe seal. I haven’t put it to the torture test and frankly I doubt it would pass however it is much tougher than needed and I can’t tear it with my hands!

As seen in the torture test I took a crowbar and a vice to try and tear it! I easily put a hundred times more force on the gasket than you will while installing it.  Check out the pic’s!  I really stretched it out and yet it returned back to shape and no serious deformation or tearing. This gasket is incredibly tough and can’t be torn by the installation process or even by human hands!

And…It-just-works!  One customer tells me that he has pressure tested my gaskets past 25psi.

From a performance speed-shop in Des Moines, IA.

“I did put the new gasket to the test; Let me say first, it is incredible. The changes you made had absolutely no negative effects to the already perfect gasket - better yet, it is even EASIER to install now!

The first versions of the gaskets were amazing, but right out of the box, they could be a pain to install (even while going by the instructions). This new one is so much easier, which really improves the product.

Not to mention I don't have to worry about tearing the gasket or ruining its shape. I have had ZERO pop-offs or boost leaks, and the best part is, I've reused the gasket 10x (on and off repeatedly) and IT STILL SEALS!

One of the "common" boost leaks that everyone just deals with is the Y pipe to throttle body - the OEM gaskets are 25+ years old and nothing else seals the OEM Y pipe.

Your product finally allows us to obtain a 0% boost leak - ensuring we are getting the entire boost available, making our cars run optimal performance.

Your gasket truly is the perfect fix for such a large headache on our platform - and the price is on point.”

Included: 1 Gasket and EASY Installation instructions to make it slip on like butter.

I recommend buying a "good quality" hose clamp.

Note: a 3/4" wide hose clamp is too wide and will not fit on this, just like the original OEM gasket.

I can still make any Gen gasket or color seen. Just message me through eBay

Note: I don’t jack up my prices only to offer you a discount when you "watch" my items. (Like others seem to be doing to their watchers) So don’t wait!
