TRIBEN SUPER 50 SG 40 g - HERBICYDY

TRIBEN SUPER 50 SG herbicide in the form of water-soluble granules for the control of dicotyledonous weeds in winter wheat, winter triticale and spring barley. The product is intended for use with self-propelled or tractor field sprayers.

Active substance content:
tribenuron-methyl (compound from the group of sulfonylurea derivatives) - 50% (500 g/kg)

ACTION ON WEEDS:
TRIBEN SUPER 50 SG is a selective herbicide with systemic action. The active substance of the product is taken up by the leaves and moves to the growth cones, where it inhibits cell division, stopping the growth and development of weeds. The rapid breakdown of the herbicide in the soil limits uptake by the roots.

The product controls many species of annual dicotyledonous weeds. The first symptoms of herbicidal action are visible after a few days and weed dieback occurs within 2 - 4 weeks of application. The rate of action depends on the developmental stage of the weeds to be controlled and the prevailing atmospheric conditions (temperature, air humidity) and weed growth rate. The highest effectiveness is guaranteed when the product is applied to young, intensively growing weeds (up to the BBCH 16 stage).

APPLICATION OF THE MEASURE
Winter wheat, winter triticale
Maximum application rate for a single use: 40 g/ha.
Recommended dose for single use: 30 - 40 g/ha.
In case of mass occurrence of field violet and creeping bindweed or when the weeds are at a higher developmental stage, TRIBEN SUPER 50 SG at the dose of 40 g/ha may be used in a mixture with the adjuvant Asystent+ at the dose of 0.05 l/ha.
Timing of application: apply the product in spring after the start of vegetation, at the tillering stage (6 visible tillers) up to the second knee stage (from the BBCH 26 stage to the BBCH 32 stage).
In order to increase the effectiveness of weed control (mainly of creeping bindweed) in winter wheat and winter triticale, TRIBEN SUPER 50 SG may be used together with GALAPER 200 EC or FLUROHERB 200 EC or HERBISTAR 200 EC at doses:
TRIBEN SUPER 50 SG at a dose of 25 g/ha + GALAPER 200 EC at a dose of 0.35 l/ha
or
TRIBEN SUPER 50 SG at 25 g/ha + FLUROHERB 200 EC at 0.35 l/ha
or
TRIBEN SUPER 50 SG at 25 g/ha + HERBISTAR 200 EC at 0.35 l/ha.
Maximum number of treatments per growing season: 1.

Recommended amount of water: 200 - 300 l/ha.
Recommended spraying: medium-drip.

Spring barley
Maximum dose for single application: 30 g/ha.
Recommended dose for single application: 25 - 30 g/ha.
In order to increase the effectiveness of the control of white banshee and creeping thorn, TRIBEN SUPER 50 SG at a dose of 30 g/ha may be used in a mixture with the adjuvant Assistant + at a dose of 0.05 l/ha.
Application timing: apply the product from the beginning of the tillering stage to the first knee stage (from the BBCH 20 to the BBCH 31 stage).
Maximum number of treatments per growing season: 1.

Recommended amount of water: 200 - 300 l/ha.
Recommended spraying: medium-drip.

PLANT SUCCESSION
The product decomposes in the soil during the growing season to a level that poses no risk to succeeding crops. If a plantation has to be liquidated, only cereals can be cultivated after ploughing.
Where TRIBEN SUPER 50 SG is used in combination with GALAPER 200 EC (FLUROHERB 200 EC, HERBISTAR 200 EC), the selection and cultivation of succeeding crops and transplants should be consulted with the holder of the authorisation.

PRECAUTIONS, WAITING PERIODS AND SPECIAL CONDITIONS FOR USE:
1.Do not apply the product:
- on plants damaged by frost, drought, water-logging, pests, diseases and on plants showing symptoms of nutrient deficiency,
- together with foliar fertilisers,
- during windy conditions causing spray drift onto adjacent crop plantations.
2.When applying the product, ensure that the spray liquid does not drift onto adjacent crop plantations and that the spray liquid does not overlap at the interfaces between treatment strips and headlands.
3.Heavy dew or precipitation occurring during or shortly after treatment may reduce the effectiveness of the product
4.Temperature drops below 5°C within 4 days after treatment may reduce the effectiveness of the product.
5.Depending on the course of the weather (e.g. frost), slight yellowing of the leaves and short-lived inhibition of cereal growth may occur after treatment. These symptoms disappear without any negative effect on yield.
6.When the product is applied at the stage from the beginning of stem growth (stem shooting) (BBCH 30) in a plantation intended for seed production, the authorisation holder must be consulted regarding possible adverse effects on protected plants.
7.The product contains an active substance from the sulfonylurea derivative group. Due to the possibility of the development of resistance in some weed species, annual use of products containing active substances from this chemical group on the same site should be avoided.
