AMSTAF 800 EC 5 L - HERBICIDE PLANT

DESCRIPTION OF THE ACTION
AMSTAF 800 EC is a herbicide in the form of a concentrate for the preparation of an aqueous emulsion (EC) for topdressing and foliar application.
The active substance prosulfocarb belongs to the HRAC group N8.

EFFECT ON WEEDS:
The product is taken up by weeds within 1 hour of application.
Rainfall occurring after this time does not reduce the effectiveness of the product. The optimum time of application is before and early after emergence of the weeds to their early developmental stages.

Sensitive weeds: common starflower, purple loosestrife, white quackgrass, cereal broom, foxglove, persimmon fern, knapweed.
Moderately susceptible weeds: field violet, field poppy, knapweed, common chamomile, annual panicle

APPLICATION OF THE MEASURE:
The product is intended for use with self-propelled or tractor field sprayers.



Winter wheat, winter barley, winter triticale, winter rye
Maximum/recommended dose for a single application: 3.0 l/ha.
Application timing:
Apply the product in autumn, after sowing cereals, up to the 3 leaf stage (BBCH 00-13).

Potato
Maximum dose for single application: 5.0 l/ha.
Recommended dose for single use: 3.0 - 5.0 l/ha.
Dosage rate depends on weed species and development stage.
Application timing:
Apply the product after planting up to the 3 leaf stage on the main shoot (BBCH 00-13).


USE OF THE PLANT PROTECTION PRODUCT IN MINOR CROPS AND APPLICATIONS:
The user is solely responsible for the efficacy and phytotoxicity of a plant protection product applied to minor crops.

Spring rye, common millet
Maximum/recommended dose for a single application: 3.0 l/ha.
Application timing: Apply the product after sowing the crop, up to the 3 leaf stage (BBCH 00-13).

Onions from sowing
Application timing: Apply the product after emergence when the first leaf proper is at least 3 cm high, at the latest before the 5th leaf is clearly visible (BBCH 11-14).

(a) Single treatment:
Maximum dose for a single application: 4.0 l/ha.
Recommended dose for single application: 3.0 - 4.0 l/ha. Dosage rate depends on weed species and development stage.
Maximum number of treatments per growing season: 1.

(b) split treatment:
- first treatment
Timing of application: apply at the 1-2 leaf stage of the onion (BBCH 11-12).
Maximum/recommended dose for a single application: 2.0 l/ha.
- second treatment
Timing of application: apply at the 4 leaf stage of the onion (BBCH 14).
Maximum/recommended dose for single application: 2.0 l/ha.

Interval between treatments: at least 7-10 days.
NOTE: The total application rate for two treatments should not exceed 4.0 l/ha.

Onions from seedlings, spring onions
Maximum dose for a single application: 4.0 l/ha.
Recommended dose for single application: 3.0 - 4.0 l/ha. The dose rate depends on the species and development stage of the weeds.
Application timing: Apply the product at the 1-4 leaf stage of onion, at the latest before the 5th leaf appears (BBCH 11-14), 7 days after planting seedlings or spring onions.
Maximum number of treatments per growing season: 1.

NOTES:
1.The product should not be used in onions intended for early harvest with chives (bunching sale).
2.The product may cause transient leaf damage in onions.

Leek at sowing
Maximum dose for a single application: 4.0 l/ha.
Recommended rate for single use: 3.0 - 4.0 l/ha. Dosage rate depends on weed species and development stage.
Application timing: Apply the product at the 2 - 4 leaf stage (BBCH 12 -14).

Leek from seedlings
Maximum dose for a single application: 5.0 l/ha.
Recommended dose for a single application: 3.0 - 5.0 l/ha.
Application timing: Apply the product at the 2-4 leaf stage (BBCH 12 -14) 7-14 days after planting the seedlings.

Garlic
Maximum dose for a single application: 4.0 l/ha.
Recommended rate for single use: 3.0 - 4.0 l/ha. Dosage rate depends on weed species and development stage.
Application timing: Apply the product after planting garlic cloves, at the 1-2 leaf stage (BBCH 11-12).

Carrots, root parsley
Timing of application: apply at the 2-4 leaf stage of the crop (BBCH 12-14).

Recommended dose for single use: 3.0 - 4.0 l/ha. Dosage rate depends on weed species and development stage.

- first treatment
Application timing: at the 2-3 leaf stage of carrots (BBCH 12-13).
Maximum dose for single application: 3.0 l/ha.
Recommended dose for single application: 2.0-3.0 l/ha.
- second treatment
Timing of application: at the 4 leaf stage of carrots (BBCH 14).
Maximum/recommended dose for single application: 2.0 l/ha.

Interval between treatments: at least 7 days.
The total dose in two treatments should not exceed 5.0 l/ha.
In the early growth stages of carrots and especially in parsley, it is advisable to use the lower of the recommended rates.

Parsnip
Maximum dose for a single application: 3.0 l/ha.
Recommended dose for single use: 2.5 - 3.0 l/ha. The dose rate depends on the species and growth stage of the weeds. In the early growth stages of parsnip it is advisable to use the lower of the recommended rates.
Application timing: Apply the product at the 2-4 leaf stage of parsnip (BBCH 12-14).
Root celery, leaf celery
Maximum dose for a single application: 4.0 l/ha.
Recommended rate for single use: 3.0 - 4.0 l/ha. Dosage rate depends on weed species and development stage.
Application timing: Apply the product at the 2-4 leaf stage (BBCH 12-14) 7-14 days after planting the seedlings.

Horseradish
Maximum dose for a single application: 4.0 l/ha.
Recommended rate for single use: 3.0 - 4.0 l/ha. The dose rate depends on the species and development stage of the weeds.
Application timing: Apply the product after planting and forming ridges.

Broad beans, fodder peas (field pea), narrow-leaved lupin, yellow lupin, white lupin, lentils
Maximum dose for single application: 4.0 l/ha.
Recommended rate for single use: 3.0 - 4.0 l/ha. Dosage rate depends on weed species and development stage.
Application timing: Apply the product up to 5 days after sowing (BBCH 00-02).

Caution:
Sow broad beans to a depth of not less than 7 cm, peas and lupins to a depth of 3-5 cm.

Sunflower, soybean, fibre flax, seed flax, fibre hemp, seed hemp
Maximum dose for a single application: 4.0 l/ha.
Recommended rate for single application: 3.0 - 4.0 l/ha. Dosage rate depends on weed species and development stage.
Application timing: Apply the product up to 3 days after sowing (BBCH 00-02).
Maximum number of treatments per growing season: 1.

Seed grown ornamental plants, perennials, ornamental shrubs
Maximum dose for single application: 4.0 l/ha.
Recommended rate for single application: 3.0 - 4.0 l/ha. Dosage rate depends on weed species and development stage.
Application timing: Apply the product before crop emergence or early after emergence and, in the case of shrubs, before the beginning of the leaf development stage (BBCH 00-09).

PLANT SUCCESSION
The product decomposes in the soil without posing a risk to succeeding crops.
