The first issue of Egg Magazine was launched in 1990 under the editorial direction of Malcolm Forbes.

Despite initial enthusiasm and promotion, Egg Magazine struggled to gain traction and was ultimately discontinued after only a few issues. Its legacy is relatively obscure compared to Forbes magazine, which remains a prominent and influential publication in the business and finance world.
