A very characteristic Spider Conch shell. Well known for the flared lips and projecting spines.
Very popular with collectors and great decorative item for your home.

Also known as the giant spider conch with a Latin name of Lambis Truncata, they are common to the Red Sea and the Pacific Ocean. Not sure where this one came from.

During its life time the tips of the spines of this particular shell species are susceptible to naturally occurring wear and tear, this is quite normal. This one is in good overall condition.

It measures 31cm long 22cm wide and 12cm deep.
