The stamps are dedicated to the Monument of Independence of Ukraine in Kiev. The monument in honor of the 10th anniversary of Ukraine's independence is located on Independence Square; was built in 2001 and is dedicated to the 10th anniversary of Ukraine's independence. The monument is made in the form of a 52-meter column, which is crowned by a sculpture of the guardian in national costume, holding a famous symbol of Ukraine - a branch of viburnum. Some parts of the bronze sculpture - a branch, a pattern on a suit and others - are covered with gold, and the column itself is lined with Italian marble. The author of the project of this column was A. Kushch, who chose his daughter K. Katrakis as a model for the creation of the coastline.
