Illustrator James Montgomery Flagg signed letter and some of his illustrations from period publications. These items were removed from a scrap album (the letter has a small strip of paper attached on the back) and some of the illustrations have some glue marks. The signed letter measures 10 x 7.75 inches. It is not dated. 

James Montgomery Flagg was an American artist, comics artist, and illustrator. He worked in media ranging from fine art painting to cartooning, but is best remembered for his political posters, particularly his 1917 poster of Uncle Sam created for United States Army recruitment during World War I.
