I believe it is 100% wool, it has a woolen smell and feel and is seriously warm.

Lined with a gorgeous thick grey satin. In fantastic condition, no holes, pulles or stains on the outside. Two marks I can see to the lining. One small dot indide the left side and a weird pen mark behind the neck. Both shown in pics. The buttons are all made with the same material as the coat and are metal backed.
