This is a vintage battery operated Arthur A-Go-Go Drummer of the Beatles Ringo Starr. The toy was made in Japan by the company Alps in the 1969’s but unsure exactly when

As you can see in picture 2, the drum does light up but it appears the drumming mechanism doesn’t work . I am reluctant to test it any further to see if it can get going as I’m unsure how I would do that and did not want to alter anything

The battery compartment is clean . There are some minor marks on the and the silver drums show a little age, I’m thinking .

The box shows age with some spots as the pictures show. Corners are okay and just a tiny bit of creasing but no tears . Along the left side of the front , it indents a little but it is hard to see in the picture. There is some sticker residue as you can see under the “A”. I did nothing to and clean the box and/or improve the condition to “brighten” it up
