Rare Circa 1920s Nude Woman Dancing with a Flowing Robe Deluxe Automobile Radiator Mascot Accessory.  Not Signed Unknown Artist. It appears documented as a "Naked Lady With Flowing Robe" on page 118 in the book: "Accessory Mascots": The Automotive Accents of Yesteryear 1910-1940 by Legendary Mascot Collector Dan Smith. Please note that the last two pictures included here from that reference book. This one may not be as well known as "The Spirit of Ecstacy", but as far as elegance is concerned, I would not hesitate to put it right up there with it. What is even more impressive is that this is a rather intricate and delicate item that has survived the test of time very nicely. Obviously a well kept piece giving great enjoyment to its owner(s) throughout the decades. Not only an extraordinary piece of Transportation Memorabilia but also an exemplary stand alone piece of figure art. Solid Silvered Bronze. Measures 8" tall and is on a large solid wood ciruclar base that has a 5" Diameter to it.

These were elegant Bonnet "Candy" for European Automobiles back in the day. If you can envision this sitting on the nose of a Classic Luxury Automobile, you can then imagine how extravagant it would look. I don't care if you live in a multi-million dollar estate looking for high end decor or if you own several million dollar classic automobiles. This one will be something to treasure and hand down to your future generations. Ounce for ounce, Pound for pound, radiator mascots are the most valuable pieces of automobile memorabilia that you can buy. A smart investment in my book, that will always maintain and increase in value. Way better than keeping your money in a bank!  Very cool Transportation Collectible from one hundred years ago.
