Very nice Tonka fire truck.

The wheel to raise/ lower the big ladder has 1 ( one) cracked spoke and the wheel is a bit tweaked, but it still functions properly.

This truck had a bent frame and the gear to raise/ lower the ladder was broken.

I had a parts truck with these parts available.

So I took it apart and replaced the frame and the entire ladder assembly.

If I hadn't mentioned it here,you would never have known. And the average person never will either.

The only indications that this truck has been altered is the 2 pop rivets on the back and the little bit of epoxy that shows where I glued the cap nuts back on for the ladder.
