The autograph albums belonged to William Dougal Christie 1816-1874 .

British 19th century British Diplomat , writer , historian , lawyer & Politician . 

Several of the notes were addressed to Christie while some others were signed on the album pages so the men were in the company of the albums original owner .

The 2 albums were full of CDV's and signatures of prominent men , the albums date 1850's through the 1860's.
