Red Wing 10875 875 Classic Moc Toe  Boots Red Orange Brown 9E Oro Hunting

This is a great pair of the quintessential 6 inch Red Wing boots in a rich Oro-iginal leather with their classic Traction Tred soles, similar in style to the 875. I love this how this leather takes on an orangish-reddish patina as they age with grace and grit. The soles are great because they track very little mud and dirt indoors and, because they lack a separate heel, they will not "catch" on anything while walking.

The orangish-reddish color of these comes from the original tanning process which used the bark of sequoia trees. The only difference between 10875 and 875 -- of which I am aware -- is that the 10875 has black not nickel eyelets and this uses Oro-iginal not Oro-Legacy leather. In other words, there is virtually no difference.

Regarding sizing, I wear 8.5 in Red Wing Iron Rangers and these 875 Moc Toes and 9 in most Allen Edmonds shoes. The typical recommendation is to size down 1/2 to a full size for these boots compared to your normal shoe size. So, these are a tad too large for me.

These are broken in so there are a few nicks and scratches here and there  -- particularly in the toe areas -- and I think they are all shown in the pictures. The soles do show a little wear but have plenty of tread remaining.

These have been stored in a smoke-free home. Please let me know if you have any questions!
