This cut lead crystal fruit or trifle bowl features a cutting pattern of crosses and five-point fans, and a star-cut base. There is no maker's name or mark.

The bowl is 8 cms (3.25 inches) tall, 21 cms (8.25 inches) in diameter across the mouth, and holds 3 pints (1.6 litres). It weighs 1.2 kilos before packaging.

There are no chips, cracks or nibbles, and just a hint of surface wear inside.
