I have listed for your perusal a Stunning French 1920's Art Deco 17.2 ctw Very Clean and Flawless Aquamarine Beryl Gemstone & 18ct White Gold Solitaire Cocktail Ring.

After a lengthy period of research it has found this ring started its life in Paris, France during the Art Deco period around c1925, it more than obvious the make would have been a really high end jeweller of some considerable notoriety, it has 2 very small marks applied to the outer-side of the rings band, the first looks to be a "Crab" for 18ct White Gold along with the second mark what looks to be a "Five pointed star". At some point in the ring previous life the band itself looks to have gone under either a repair or an adjustment in its size. I personally believe the ring was adjusted to fit a new owner, or an owner who's ring finger size had become either bigger or smaller.

The Aquamarine Beryl Gemstone is an absolute stunner, the stone itself exhibits a calming bluish hue with green flashes and is superbly cut with linear facets that flicker beautifully in the light.

The gemstone is top shelf in quality and was probably and more than likely mined in Brazil between 1907-1920 "I say Brazil because that is where most Aquamarine gemstones were found apart from some mined in Asia around that same period.

It's cut measurements are 18mm x 13mm x 6mm and is totally transparent and flawless (Loupe Clean). Apart from the small amount of gold involved it's all about that 17.2 Carat Gemstone. Total weight of ring is 6.1g, so its not too big and bulky to feel unconformable when wearing, unlike a lot of bigger but lower grade Aquamarine Gemstones. The size is UK R.5

The postage cost listed is for UK Buyer Only.

European/Worldwide Buyer I would advise using eBay's own Global Shipping Service for delivery to your own location, and please remember any Import Duty Taxation applied as a result of the purchase will be the Buyers expense.
