This exquisite antique coconut vessel dates back to the 19th century and is believed to have originated from Southeast Asia. The coconut is finely carved with intricate details and features 3 brass feet and a lid with a brass knob. This incredible piece of maritime folk art is a rare find and would make a great addition to any antique, Southeast Asian or maritime collection. If only this piece could talk!

It has five panels, each depicting what appears to be different levels of prayer/meditation. It measures just under 5" tall and 3" in diameter. This rare piece is in excellent shape and has been well-preserved over the years. There are of course dings and age that are evident, which is appropriate for this type of artifact.
