For all you AMPEX fans, here is a vintage AMPEX Standard Alignment Tape. This product was catalog number CAT. NO. 5563-A6 for AMPEX and is 7.5 inches per second speed. The reel itself measures to about 4.75 inches in diameter and the tape is .25 inch in width.

This gem was in the collection of the estate of a radio hobbyist that had a basement full of radio and audio equipment.
 
There is some wear to the metal case and the label, as well as a small tear on the label (see photos). The tape looks like it was rarely used if at all and is good cosmetic condition.
