A fabulous Shelley Art Deco "Black Crackle" Queen Anne shape tea trio. C.1927.

Seconds ware pattern No 2087: Pink, blue, mauve and amber flowers and green foliage on a black and white crackle background. Black edges and black handle. Entered in pattern book during or after 1927.

The back stamp is the 1925-1940 green cartouche mark. 

The shape of this trio is the Queen Anne shape which was first introduced in 1926.

Dimensions: cup base 39mm (1.5 inches) / distance  across top of cup 81mm (3.2 inches) / height of cup 59mm (2.25 inches) / saucer 132mm (5.25 inches) / side plate 158mm (6.25 inches).

Condition: All 3 pieces are in very good clean condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, scratching or signs use. All 3 pieces have a very good "ping" to them when lightly tapped.
