to our auction! Many of you know us as longtime collectors and sellers of
antique and vintage Halloween, Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Easter holiday memorabilia,
paper ephemera, and much more. We are also given the honor of selling fine and
rare pieces for other collectors.
Over the next several weeks, I will be listing more incredible pieces from some
of our hobby’s most well-respected and knowledgeable collectors. I am
celebrating more than 20 years of sharing wonderful treasures on eBay!
WELCOME TO WITCH WEEKS! My next several offerings will feature
all things WITCHY!
These pristine, large size witch silhouette diecut decorations will come along
with their original paper envelope. They just SCREAM the Roarin’ 1920s!
The coven consists of eight witches in total, and they are flying on their favorite mode of
transportation – their brooms. Each witch measures 10” across, and they are
made from lightweight cardboard stock.
The envelope measures 10 ½” X 6 ½”, and it reads simply 8 Black Cardboard Witch
Shapes. There is no manufacturer’s mark.
The exact condition is as follows:
Witches are PRISTINE and and appear to be NEVER USED.
There are NO bends, creases, or pinholes. It is incredible to me that there is
no damage, considering their many delicate points and their elderly age. The
envelope has a couple of short tears, but it is complete and does retain its
flap.
Hosts and hostesses went to great lengths when throwing a festive party on All
Hallows Eve during the Golden Age of Hallowe'en – the 1920s and 1930s. While
these “lovely” ladies apparently never had a chance to decorate a home a
century ago, decorations just like these would have been pinned to walls,
curtains, costumes, and mantels, or scattered among other table decorations such as candy
containers and Hallowe'en centerpieces. They would be an ideal acquisition for
those collectors of hard-to-find holiday ephemera in the very best condition.

We charge actual shipping costs with no handling fees. We’ll ship this item for
$12.00 USPS Priority Mail Insured in the continental United States. The
shipping costs for this item are an estimate and may be less depending on your
location. If the actual shipping costs are less, we will refund the difference.
We pack with tender loving care, and whenever possible, we will combine
shipping if you are buying more than one item. We’re also happy to arrange for
free pick-up if you can come to Lancaster PA.

receipt of payment. Sales tax is collected by eBay and varies from state to
