A superb Shelley pattern No 11992 Floral Dainty shape tea cup & saucer. C.1932. 

Pattern No 11992:  White ground. Green figural handle with blue and pink flowers. Entered in pattern book during or after 1932.

The back stamp is the 1925-1940 green cartouche mark. 

The shape of this tea cup & saucer is the Floral Dainty shape which was first introduced in 1932.

Dimensions: diameter of cup base 38mm (1.5 inches) / distance across top of cup 84mm (3.25 inches) / height of cup 57mm (2.25 inches) / diameter of saucer 140mm (5.5 inches).

Condition: Both pieces are in excellent clean pristine condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, scratching, rubbing or any signs of wear whatsoever. Paintwork is in excellent order. Both pieces have an excellent "ping" to them when lightly tapped. A fine example.
