Don’t be fooled by the 19.99 copycat ads currently being displayed on eBay. The original R emblems found here are the only version that has been coated with base coat clear coat urethane paint. The 2k clear coat is uv resistant up to 10 years if left out in the elements. Dyed plastic on the other hand? Take a look at any 2 year old Jeep to see how long it takes for dyed plastic to start fading from uv light.

2k urethanes beautiful finish typically lasts 7-10 years if left out in the elements and can last indefinitely if garage kept. Dyed plastic on the other hand? Take a look at the plastic parts on a 2 year old Jeep. Dyed plastic will fade and turn light chalky red over time. Buy a product that has been finished properly. Emblems are definitely not something your going to want to change out every few years.

Installation: Clean the area with alcohol and peel the outer layer of the included 3m vhb tape from the back of the emblem and stick it on.
