The Green (13) Heliopan Filter is a basic contrast filter, primarily for use with black and white film, that darkens blue and red tones while lightening green tones. It is especially useful for portraiture as well as outdoor scenes with foliage. There is an approximate 3x filter factor with this filter, requiring an increase of 1.5 stops for normal exposure.
The SH-PMC multi-coating provides a total of 16 coatings, 8 per side, for significant reflection reduction (below 0.2%) as well as dust and moisture repellence for easier cleaning.
The Heliopan filters are made from Schott glass for increased optical clarity and color fidelity. It features a brass filter ring for durability as well as jamming prevention.
