Registered in September 1961 I purchased the car approximately 5 years ago.
Finished in imperial maroon with 3 former keepers, it had been barn stored by a collector for a number of years.
Once purchased I set about getting the car running and driving prior to commencing a nut and bolt restoration.
The bodyshell was completely stripped and bare metalled to see the extent of the required works, these were considerable including repairs to the rear chassis rails, boot floor, rear valance, outriggers, jacking points, sills, a posts, inner front wings, strut tops, front wings. There is a photographic record of this work and the shell currently sits in bodywork primer.
All of the parts removed from the car are included in the sale, these are in as removed condition.
Due to a change in plans I have decided to offer the car for sale
