Schallers Klassiker, der Western/Jazz Pickup Nr. 3280 wurde Mitte der 1980er Jahre entwickelt und über viele Jahre mit verschiebbaren Magnetpolen hergestellt. Da der "Effekt" kaum hörbar war, wurde ab etwa 2010 darauf verzichtet und die Gehäuseform geschlossen. Er besitzt einen besonders klaren und transparenten Sound. Die Befestigungswinkel sind verstellbar. Einfache Selbstmontage am unteren Halsende. Sehr flach, nur 7mm dick. Inzwischen hat SCHALLER die gesamte Produktion magnetischer Pickup eingestellt und sich hauptsächlich der Produktion hochwertiger mechanischer Gitarren Hardware zugewandt. Schaller’ classic piece, the Western/Jazz Pickup no. 3280, was developed in the mid-1980s and manufactured for several years with sliding magnetic poles. Yet, because the “effect” was barely audible, this feature was discontinued in around 2010 and the casing was given a closed form. It has an especially clear and transparent sound. The mounting angles are adjustable. Easy, do-it-yourself installation on the lower end of the neck. Very flat, it is only 7 mm thick. In the meantime, SCHALLER has ceased its entire production of magnetic pickups, now primarily focusing on the production of high-quality mechanical guitar hardware.
